ABOUT US

A small church with a big heart.

We’ve been gathering in Regina for decades in a simple, welcoming space that has become a genuine home for our church family.

OUR STORY

How we got here

Northwest Church of Christ has been part of Regina’s story for many years. Like many Churches of Christ on the Canadian prairies, we are shaped by the Restoration Movement’s conviction that Christians should set aside denominational labels and follow the New Testament together.

We are a small, close-knit congregation where people of all backgrounds gather to learn, ask questions, and grow in faith together. Long-time believers sit alongside those who are just beginning to explore.

Our worship is simple and centred on Scripture. We sing together, share communion each week, and study the Bible in a way that’s thoughtful, welcoming, and grounded in everyday life.

Northwest is not focused on size or recognition. It is a community seeking to be faithful, present, and rooted in Christ.

HOW WE WORSHIP

Simple, sincere, and rooted in scripture.

Our worship follows a pattern we find in the New Testament: singing together (voices only), prayer, scripture teaching, and the Lord's Supper shared every week. The congregation itself is the instrument.

Acappella singing — voices together, in harmony

Weekly communion — remembering Jesus every Sunday

Bible-centred teaching — no creed but the scripture

Open prayer — led by members of the congregation
